This policy explains what the EduMaxim website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only. When a school uses the EduMaxim app, the school decides what student and staff records go into it, and our agreement with the school covers that data.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site:
- Book a demo: your name, role, school, city, mobile number, email (optional), school size, the module you are interested in, any message, and your preferred day and time.
- Newsletter: your email address and the page you signed up on.
- Setup sheets: the contact details of the person sending them, and the rows in the sheets themselves. These can include students’ names, classes, dates of birth, parents’ names and mobile numbers, addresses, staff details, fee structures and bus routes.
- With every demo request we also note the internet address and browser type it came from, to stop spam and abuse.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not set cookies. The site remembers two small settings only in your own browser: whether you paused the animations, and the school details you typed on the setup page during the same visit.
Why we use it
- To arrange and run the demo you asked for, and to call or email you about it.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for. You can stop it at any time by emailing us.
- To set up your school on EduMaxim from the sheets you send. We use those sheets for nothing else.
- To keep the site safe from spam and misuse.
We never sell your details or share them for anyone else’s marketing.
Children’s details
Setup sheets often contain details about children. Please send them only on behalf of your school, and only where your school is allowed to share them with us for setting up its records, for example with the consent of parents where the law requires it. We use these details only to set up your school and never for marketing.
Who handles your details
- Our team, who read demo requests and setup sheets to help you.
- Google (Gmail), which delivers these messages to our inbox.
- Our hosting provider, which runs this website. Its servers may be outside India.
Each of these providers handles the details only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep demo requests and newsletter sign-ups while we are in touch with you, and setup sheets only as long as needed to set up your school, unless the law requires us to keep something longer. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us at [email protected] or +91 78302 41494. We will reply within one working day and act on your request as soon as we can.
Keeping it safe
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), every form is checked on our server, and only our team can read what you send. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything a form does not ask for.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
